The American Baptist Association Offerings:
1 – America for Christ (AFC) collected from February to March
The America for Christ Offering is the
American Baptist response to the needs of home mission
beyond the local congregation in witness and service
for Christ as mandated by the Great Commission.
2 – One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) collected from May & June
The One Great Hour of Sharing Offering is the
American Baptist response to world-wide
emergency disaster relief and development.
3 – World Mission Offering (WMO) collected in September
The World Mission Offering is the
American Baptist response to the needs of international mission
in partnership with people in other countries
as mandated by the Great Commission.
4 – Retired Ministers & Missionaries Offering (RMMO) collected in
November & December.
The Retired Ministers and Missionaries Offering is the
American Baptist thank you and response to
emergency needs of retired ministers, missionaries
and surviving spouses.
