Salvation
God loves you and wants to have a personal relationship with you.
He wants to help you on your journey through life and into eternity.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 31:3, “I have loved you with an everlasting love;
I have drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
There is a problem, however.
You along with everyone else have chosen to go your own way.
Your sins have caused a separation between God and you.
The Bible says in Isaiah 59:2, “…it is your sins that separate you from God.”
You must realize you can’t do enough good works to get to heaven..
Titus 3:5 says, “{God} saved us. It was not because of any good deeds that
we ourselves had done, but because of his own mercy that he saved us.”
You must realize that you fall short of what God expects.
You are a sinner.
The Bible says the penalty for your sins is death
(spiritual separation from God forever).
these words – alone, pain, lost, separated, forever –
describe that kind of experience.
But God does not want that to happen to anyone.
The Bible says in Romans 3:23, “The wages of sin is death,
but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
So God did for us what we could not do for ourselves.
He sent Christ to die to provide a bridge so we could cross over to God.
These words – Love, hope, peace, trust, friend and future,
describe what comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He died for you.
He paid in full the penalty for your sins and rose again to prove
He is the Savior of the world.
Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this:
While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
It is not enough just to know this.
You need to personally receive Christ by asking Him to forgive you
and to come into your life.
This means you become willing to serve Him instead of yourself.
